i loooooove that boost guage install. i think i remember it being mentioned on gtrydaz but i'd forgotten about it. it looks so natural and fitting. great great mod

Yeah thanks mate, I posted the boost gauge install up on GTrydaz when I fitted it last year.
Thats the look I wanted, it seems to fit in there nice and neat.

One day I will change the gauge lighting from red to green to suit the Forester dash

I hadn't thought of putting the Scangauge there. Was it an easy install? How do you find it positioning down there?

Installation was not hard, had to cut out and remove the ashtray/cig lighter and make a aluminium plate to stick the gauge onto. The cig lighter is now hidden down under the glove box.

The position is not the best for viewing while driving, it would be better up higher.
But I like the spot it is in, much neater than sitting on top of the dashboard. I just close the flap and the gauge is hidden ;)
I just glance at the display while driving or have a good look at the traffic lights.
