So... Picked up my new car about 2 months ago now.
After coming from a lowered BMW 318i with 18's (which died a very epic death), Our weekend adventures have gone a lot more bush so I'm deciding to take it down the 4WD / Expedition vehicle look. Due to money, I expect this build to take a long time... like glacial. And as with many builds, the list will never end. Any suggested mods would be greatly appreciated too, I'm not too caught up on recommended mechanical mods. ;)

I bought a well kept 2008 MY09 XT Premium with 78k clocked, I had been dreaming about buying one for years and bit the bullet.

Looks good so far!

And nice to see a non-slammed SH (with the right kind of scrub), even if they are aspirational pics.

Yeah, trying to to make it look over done because then the cheap factor goes up (Eg: the Lamborghinis in the new GoPro 4 promo video)

Taking it on the sand in a few days up in Cooloola National Park so will take many pics ;)

Yeah, I'm on the fence about doing that or getting the mesh. I realllllly like the mesh grille, but it can get expensive trying to match the dark grey on mine with the sparkles instead of a simpler black.

I think I'll go the mesh grille... Hmmm my birthday is coming up, I might just leave some hints here and there for people ;)

Congrats! glacial is coool, like mine that's been stagnant for.. oh I dunno, all of 12 months? I'm thinking of raising mine too so keen to see how you go.

Your grey looks like my old NA. I've still got a painted sports grille for it, let me know if you want some pics :)

That would be awesome to see some pics :)

Just got back from our long weekend away at Coolooa National Park, driving up and through the sand tracks near Noosa. Didn't get bogged down once, and even took some serious 4WD tracks and amazed a fair few people. Representing Fozzies felt real goooood, and my new MaxTrax stay in their original packing for now haha. Pics to come when I've sorted them out.
