The Story:
During October 2018, a truck went into my lane and written off my 2005 H6 Liberty which I only owned for one whole month... So after discussion with the CEO of the family (my wife)... It was time for a turbo. Found this car on facebook and after have a good long chat, a test drive and a few hours of consideration, I put a deposit down and bought it :D

What does 'Tatay' mean?
In filipino it means dad, my liberty was abit of a grandpa wagon so I called it Lolo (grandpa). Since it looks more like a dad car and the fact I have a two year old, it is now a 'tatay' car :)

Finally gave it a squirt. Yes definatly better power but missing that low end torque but i dont mind, less fuel used for everyday driving :)

Kamusta :D

So yesterday did some work on the car. The rear garnish was missing, so as soon as I bought the car, I drove down to pick'n'payless in Blacktown and got me a rear garnish for $50.

First jack up your car.

Took off some bolts and bolted in the new one.

Twas a good 30 minute install. Now it looks complete!

Next update, I will probs get the 18x8.5 Rota G forces preped and painted ready for tyres.

No photos with this post but some updates

After around 4 weeks of owning the car here are my observations.

1. These bc coilovers are uncomfortable on the commute to work (Sydney CBD), but when going for a spirited drive its wonderful. MCA blues in thr future for sure
2. Power steering lines are leaking, luckily have a friend with a wrx quick rack ;) good time for upgrades.
3. Will invest in braided lines and possibly H6 brakes instead of 4 pots.
4. Put in 5W40 HPR Penrite. Engine is smooth but abit more noisy. It has some lifter tick as well. Might try 10w40
5. Needs a proper dyno tune and i would like to know the offical power instead of estimate
6. Going to focus on suspension more than power at first. Power later ;)

Got a towbar to put on the car pictures next week.

Loving the turbo life but the feeling of 'no replacement for displacement' is real. Missing the low end torque!!

It happens when you buy a property, have a kid and work full time now hahaha.

I figured what do i get more bang for buck in terms of driving experience.... suspension. Then when suspension is super good, a very immature 250kw is on the mind haha
