Good times getting a new car, i also came from an SS (ute) but was so happy to be back in a AWD turbo when i bought my foz.

Also, add a RSB to your list. Great cheap mod for the SH (till you want coilovers :lol: )

I take my foz on the beach a fair bit so lowering is out of the question :( Will a RSB inpact any offroad capabilities

Just edited my post because it reads like im driving a ford....... :shock:

Anyway, RSB would affect the distance one of your rear wheels could lift without the other also wanting to lift (I think). But i dont think thats going to be a drama on the beach..? Never driven on a beach though.

ah ok. Yeah, i don't usually go off road 'off road' because my dogs are usually in the back. Everytime i take a corner too fast or go over a bigger dune i get a slap from the GF :shock:

RSB will be fine for beach driving, if anything will give better traction during articulation :)

Just a quick update :)

I had my TH tune this morning.... runs like a boss!

The car pulls hard throughout the rev range, compared to only really being towie around the 2.5k to 3.5k RPM. On the trip from Carlton in Sydney to Newcastle the car was using 8.6 LP/100km with A LOT of thrashing in between lights/traffic in Sydney :D.

After i got home the misses and i thought we'd go out on our weekend drive to take some pictures :) see below

Ok, so i've been bitten by the mod bug again.... Even though i told my self after my LS1 i won't be touching the XT other than a tune ;)

After speaking with TH he's advised me to go down the steps of getting an exhaust, at least a cat back, and getting a Process West TMIC. After looking around and from what i've read over the forums since joining, i'm pretty keen to pick up these;

Invidia Q300 Turbo back Exhaust (quad tip which i'm pretty sure requires the back bumper to be shaved a bit) http://www.prospeedracing.com.au/products/Invidia-Q300-Turbo-back-Exhaust-suit-SH9-Forester.html OR the TCP equivalent which is meant to be one of the quietest on the market.
Process West TMIC http://www.prospeedracing.com.au/produc ... ester.html

Thoughts?
