Just wanted to show you my crystal-grey custom project XT Fozza MY06. I bought it 6 months ago, upgrading from a 2000 NA Forester, and like all of you, I love them. How could you not love this vehicle? Its the most versatile vehicle on the market being a performance car, family wagon, recreational 4WD (SUV) and towing car. Can't get any better, a real multi award-winning vehicle.

Pics of mods and customisations as of Dec 2008:
Image
Image
I customised the grill by painting the original grill matt black and cut aftermarket aluminium sports mesh grill to shape and fit to perfection, to look like the sports grill, then I fitted the STI badge.
I also extended the grill down to the lower air intake dam, by painting the whole centre bumper satin black to increase the aggressive look, (like VW GTI and Audi), then finished it off with chrome pin-striping around it.

Image
Also neatly fitted a set of driving/fog light combination. One bulb is used for high beam, the other for fog light which makes 4 fog lights overall. I replaced the original mirror covers with genuine chrome covers. Gives it a little bling bling :P
On the windscreen, I got a STI vinyl sticker that doubles as a sunvisor, works well to stop the glaring sun, especially between the internal visors.

Image
Image
I painted the engine cover with a wrinkle finish red and silver. Engine bay is stock, nothing done performance wise....yet, except for fitting a K&N filter and removing the resonator of the air intake inside the right hand guard. Gives that snorting growl when you accelerate ;)

Image
Fitted a roof spoiler, painted matt black to match the roof bars and rails and custom fit the roof rails 10 inches backwards. Fitted an STI badge and painted the bottom lip of the rear bumper bar metallic gold.
I figured out the perfect spot for my two OZFOZ stickers which was on the bottom of the rear window.
Image
My custom styling just to match the rear lip of the bumper bar, i painted the rear corner of the side skirts metallic gold, added black pin striping and a Subaru World Rally Team badge.

I'll keep this topic updated with all mods and customising that I do.
Cheers, :drinks:

The cars looking very aggressive in those photos. :)

You can probably save yourself some money and leave the turbo timer off your wish list. From what I know, it's an unnecessary expense, and $ can be used on something else.

Hey DellsfozzaXT

I'd get rid of the gold personally, but I like the how you've painted the side skirts....

I have always wanted to see how that center part of the bar would look painted black !! It looks good, but you should get Black Plates with Silver/Gold or White Lettering and paint the center bit Gloss Black

Chris.

Chris, I'm in the stage of getting the gold on black number plates and I think it should look good. Just have to save more $$ because in NSW its fairly expensive and you have to pay a yearly premium because mine are personalised plates.
BTW you've got a really nice STI fozza, wanna swap?? :P
I had to ask, you never know, could be my lucky day

yeah your right, I guess that can go at the end of my wishlist when I have the $$
the TT just handy when your rushing up to park after some fun driving, blowing the v8's away! :P

Thanks again, cheers and merry christmas!
