Good team work!!! From early discussion, researching, sourcing, down to installation.

Hope you are liking how the brake pedal feel now.

I'm still figuring out what to do with the brake pipe/tube that blocks the install path in XT (freakin!!!) Premium.

Does anyone know if those brake pipes off master cylinder can be replaced with braided lines?

I've had mine installed for a few weeks now, it makes the brake pedal feel a bit firmer especially when coming up to a complete stop like at traffic lights, it's not mind blowing but it's definitely a + gain in brake pedal feel

The stock brakes takes too long to bite and I felt the pedal needs to be pressed more firmly than required on hard stops. Hence the BCS install. The changes to the peddle feel is not drastic, just subtle differences. The brakes feel more direct but only on severe braking.

I acknowledge that the weakest link in the stock braking system are the brake pads. That's next on my todo list then followed by the rotors. I think going Brembo is over capitalising on this car....

So far test fitting is looking good. All lined up and it's slightly smaller lighter compare to 692 561 A.

MY15 STi Cusco BCS is installed (but not tightened properly yet - can't find the spanner size I need in my shonky tool box.......) Guess I'll be driving the Jazz till I find the spanner.

So guys, if you ever want to install Cusco BCS in SJ XT here the part number
XT non Premium: 692 561 A (99% sure can use 6A1 561 A too but more expensive)
XT (freakin') Premium: 6A1 561 A

Attached pic (Thanks Tim @CMA) for comparison and red arrow shows where one of SJ XT Premium brake pipes/tubes is routed therefore not possible to use 692 561 A without modding the pipe/tube (which cost at least the BCS itself, if not more).

Hope it helps someone in the future.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but can you confirm the 6A1 561 A actually tightened up on your XT premium? I already bought another Cusco one and it didn't fit because of that brake line wish I found this thread before buying it!
